How Your Interior Comes Together
- Design & materials. We sit in the car together, talk through what stays and what changes, then you pick materials and stitch colours from real swatches.
- Strip out. Seats, cards and lining out carefully, every clip and fixing bagged and labelled so it all goes back tight and rattle-free.
- Pattern & cut. Patterns taken from your actual panels and seats, then cut from the approved hides and fabrics at the bench.
- Stitch & build. Machine and hand stitching, foams repaired or reshaped, and every seam checked against the mock-ups you signed off.
- Refit & detail. Everything back in, aligned and torqued, then a final detail so the cabin smells and feels like a new car. Better, actually.
Interior & Upholstery FAQs
How much does a full car retrim cost?
A full retrim depends on the size of the cabin, the materials you choose and how much custom work is involved, so a leather retrim on a two-seater costs very different money to a seven-seat family car in Alcantara. Tell us the car and the look you want and we will quote it honestly.
Can you repair a sagging headlining?
Yes, headlining repair is one of our most common jobs. We remove the board, strip the old foam properly and bond new material, rather than gluing or pinning the old one back up to fail again next summer.
Real leather or Alcantara, which is better?
Leather is durable, classic and easy to live with. Alcantara feels special and grips brilliantly on wheels and seat centres, but needs a little more care. Plenty of our best interiors mix both, leather bolsters with Alcantara centres is a favourite.
Can you match my existing interior for a single seat repair?
Usually, yes. We source matching or near-matching materials and, where the original is discontinued, we blend the repair so it disappears into the rest of the cabin. Worst case, we retrim in pairs so nothing looks odd.
Do you do custom embroidery and stitching?
Logos, initials, contrast stitching and custom quilting patterns are all done in-house. If you want your build name stitched into the headrests, that is exactly the kind of detail we are here for.
