- Fit & plumb. Tanks mounted, pump and accumulator fitted, and pipework run with quality fittings and secured so nothing rattles or chafes.
- Heat & pressure-test. Hot water and any shower plumbed in, then the whole system pressure-tested for leaks before it goes near your kit.
- Winterise & explain. Set up with draining and winterising in mind, then walked through so you know how to fill, drain and look after it.
Water & Plumbing FAQs
How big a water tank do I need in a campervan?
It depends on how many of you travel and for how long between fills. A weekender might be happy with a small internal tank, while a full-timer wants a larger under-slung fresh tank and a grey tank to match. We size it to your travels.
Can you fit hot water and a shower?
Yes. Hot water can come from a diesel or gas heater or a dedicated water heater, and we fit indoor and outdoor showers. An outdoor shower is brilliant for muddy boots, wetsuits and the dog.
Will the plumbing leak or rattle?
Not if it is done properly. We use quality fittings, secure the pipework so nothing chafes or rattles, and pressure-test the whole system for leaks before you take the van away.
What about winter and frost?
We plumb systems so they can be drained and winterised easily, which protects tanks, pump and pipes from frost damage. We will show you how to drain it down for cold snaps and storage.
Can you add plumbing to my existing camper?
Yes. We can add or upgrade tanks, fit a pump and taps, add hot water or a shower, or fix a leaking or airlocked existing system so it finally works as it should.
