Machine Polishing & Paint Correction
Machine polishing and paint correction in Scunthorpe — swirls, scratches and dull, flat paint cut back to a deep, wet-look gloss.
Bringing Tired Paint Back to Life
Over time paint picks up swirls, wash marks and light scratches that dull the finish. Machine polishing removes them properly — cutting and refining the clear coat, not filling it with wax.
We measure the paint, test the process on a panel, and take off only what is needed for a safe, lasting result.
swirls gone, gloss back

What We Do

Single-Stage Enhancement
A one-stage machine polish that lifts gloss, removes light swirls and refreshes tired paint — the cost-effective glow-up.

Multi-Stage Correction
For heavier swirls, scratches and oxidation — multiple cutting and refining stages that properly remove defects, not hide them.

Pre-Coating Prep
The correction stage before a ceramic coating or wrap, so the finish underneath is flawless before it is sealed in.
measured, not rushed
How Your Correction Comes Together
- Inspect & measure. Assess the paint under proper lighting and take depth readings.
- Test panel. Dial in the right pads and compounds on a test area first.
- Machine stages. Cut and refine, panel by panel, checking as we go.
- Refine & protect. A final polish, then wax, sealant or ceramic to lock it in.
Paint Correction FAQs
Will it remove every scratch?
Most swirls and light-to-medium scratches, yes. Deep scratches through the clear coat can be improved but not always fully removed — we will tell you honestly what is achievable.
Is machine polishing safe for my paint?
In the right hands, yes. We measure paint thickness and use the least aggressive method that works.
How long does the finish last?
The correction is permanent — the defects are gone. How long it looks that way comes down to protection and washing.
Correction or a normal polish?
A machine correction actually removes defects; a hand polish or glaze mostly hides them. We do the real thing.
Can you prep for a ceramic coating?
Absolutely — correcting the paint first is the proper way to get the most from a ceramic coating.
