Recovery kit and armour are only as good as what they are bolted to. A winch on a flimsy bumper or a bash plate on a couple of self-tappers is worse than useless when it matters. At Mad Dogg Kustoms we mount winches, bull bars and underbody protection to points engineered to take the strain, so the gear works when the trail turns nasty rather than tearing off.
We fit and wire winches, front and rear recovery points, bull bars and rock sliders, plus sump guards, transfer-case and tank protection and snorkels for wading and cleaner air. Everything sized to the vehicle and installed so it is trail-ready, not just showroom shiny.

Can you fit a winch to my 4×4?
In most cases yes, using a winch bar or cradle mounted to strong points and wired with proper fusing and isolation. We size the winch to the vehicle weight and fit it so it pulls safely rather than just looking the part.
Are proper recovery points really necessary?
Absolutely. Standard tie-down eyes are not rated for snatch recoveries and can become dangerous projectiles if they fail. We fit rated front and rear recovery points bolted to the chassis so a recovery is safe, not a gamble.
Will a bull bar affect my airbags?
A quality bar designed for your specific vehicle is engineered to work with the airbag sensors. We fit vehicle-specific bars rather than universal ones, so the safety systems keep working as intended.
Do I need underbody protection for green laning?
If you value your sump, fuel tank and transfer case, yes. A single hidden rock can end a day out and cost a fortune. Guards and sliders are cheap insurance against exactly that.
Can you fit a snorkel and will it help?
Yes. A properly sealed snorkel raises the air intake for safer wading and pulls cleaner, cooler air on dusty trails. The key is a fully sealed installation, which is where a lot of DIY jobs leak, and where we do not.
