How Your System Comes Together
- What you carry. Recovery kit, tools, camping gear, a dog or a fridge. We design the layout around your actual loadout and how often you reach for it.
- Design & materials. Drawers, floors and lockers drawn to fit your load bay, in hard-wearing ply or lighter aluminium, priced clearly.
- Build & finish. Made to measure, trimmed and finished to match the interior, with smooth slides and solid latches.
- Fit & secure. Bolted to strong points with tie-downs added, so the whole system and its contents stay put in a hard stop.
- Wire & hand over. Power and fridge wiring run in off the aux battery, tested and walked through so you know how it all works.
Storage & Drawer FAQs
How much does a 4×4 drawer system cost?
It depends on the size of the load bay, the materials and how many drawers, lockers and extras you want. A simple twin-drawer unit is accessible money, a full false-floor system with fridge slide and wiring is more. Tell us the vehicle and your kit and we will design and price it.
Ply or aluminium drawers, which is better?
Ply is strong, quiet, easy to repair and cheaper, which suits most builds. Aluminium is lighter and tougher for hard commercial or expedition use but costs more. We will steer you to whichever fits your use and budget.
Will a drawer system take much payload?
The system itself adds some weight, so we build to be strong without being needlessly heavy and factor it into any suspension advice. The organisation and security you gain is well worth the modest weight.
Can you add a fridge slide and power?
Yes, fridge slides and 12V power are among the most popular additions. We run the wiring from a properly fused auxiliary supply so your fridge runs without the risk of flattening your starter battery.
Can I still get to my spare wheel and jack?
That is part of the design. We plan access to the spare, jack and tools into the layout from the start, so nothing important gets buried under the new system.
