What is the best insulation for a campervan?
There is no single best; a good build combines sound deadening, a quality thermal insulation in the cavities and correct vapour control. The right mix depends on the van and how you use it, and we spec it to suit rather than cutting corners.
How do I stop condensation in my van?
Condensation is beaten with a combination of insulation, vapour control and ventilation, so warm moist air cannot reach cold metal and settle. We build all three into the insulation stage rather than leaving you to chase damp later.
Ply lining or carpet lining, which is better?
Ply gives a solid, paintable surface and fixing points for furniture, while carpet lining is softer, quieter and hugs curves. Many builds use both, and we will suggest the right mix for your look and use.
Can you insulate a van I have already started?
Yes, though it is easiest before the fit-out. If furniture is already in, we work around it where we can, but insulating early always gives the best, most complete result.
