How Your Paint Job Comes Together
- Colour & concept. Bring a swatch, a photo or just an idea. We mix, spray out sample cards and tweak until you would tattoo it on your arm.
- Strip & prep. Trim off, old paint keyed or removed, dents and rust sorted properly. Ninety percent of a great respray happens before any colour appears.
- Prime & block. High-build primer, guide coats and hours of block sanding until every panel is arrow straight under the light.
- Colour & clear. Base, candy or pearl laid down in a controlled environment, then locked under quality clearcoat.
- Flat, polish & hand over. The clear is flatted and machine polished to a glass finish, then we walk the whole car with you panel by panel.
Car Paint FAQs
How much does a full car respray cost?
Full car respray cost depends on the size of the vehicle, the condition of the bodywork and the finish you choose. A straight solid colour change costs a lot less than a candy or pearlescent job over fresh bodywork. Send us the car and the colour you are dreaming of and we will price it honestly.
Can you match my existing paint for a repair?
Yes. We colour match from your paint code and then blend by eye on spray-out cards, because two cars with the same code rarely wear the same colour after years in the sun. Panels and blends leave here invisible.
What is the difference between candy and pearlescent paint?
Candy paint is a translucent colour sprayed over a metallic base, giving deep, wet colour that shifts with the light. Pearlescent paint uses ceramic pearls in the coat, so the colour changes tone as you walk around the car. Both need skill and both look incredible done right.
Do you paint motorcycles and parts as well as cars?
All the time. Tanks, fairings, helmets, valve covers, alloys and full frames. Small parts get the same booth, the same paint and the same eye as a full respray.
How long does a full respray take?
A quality full respray is usually measured in weeks, not days, because the prep is where the finish is won. We will give you a realistic timeline with the quote and keep you posted with photos as it moves through the shop.
